What are the race dates?

What are the distances for each race?
St. Anthony’s Triathlon

How do I register?
Registration opens October 1, 2017, 12am ET. The online registration link will be live on this page at that time. Registration closes April 22, 2018, 11:59pm ET. Register early as we expect to reach maximum capacity. No mail-in registrations are accepted.
What is the cost for entry?
Cost depends primarily on when you register. View the 2018 Entry Fee Schedule for more information.
I can't race. Can I get a refund?
- • No refunds, no exceptions. For deferrals, email H Bachtold before April 20, 2018. There will be an $80 registration fee for 2019 for Olympic deferrals and $30 fee for Sprint deferrals. You can now purchase a Registration Protector for 6.75 percent of the registration fee (minimum $.99) per entry.
- • Registration protection is provided by a third-party provider, Allianz Insurance. View these FAQs for a list of coverages and more information.
- • If a claim needs to be filed, it’s filed directly by the participant with Allianz. The event and Active.com are removed from the process. This is similar to any other insurance policy where a claim must be filed and then approved.
Do I need a photo ID to pick up my packet?
I know someone who can't race. Can I use their number?
No. You will be banned from participation at all USAT-sanctioned events.
Do I need a USAT license to participate?
Yes. All individuals and relay team members must furnish proof of current USAT membership or you will be required to purchase a one-day USAT license ($15) at athlete check-in.
Can I have someone else pick up my packet for me?
No. You must pick up your own packet or you won't be allowed to race. No exceptions. You must be at the athlete check-in before it closes at 5pm on Saturday, April 28.
Can someone else check in my bike for me?
Yes. If you can't check in your bike, you may have another competitor check in your bike once they've received their participant wrist band. Your bike must be checked in by 6pm, Saturday, April 28. You must pick up your packet and your bike must be numbered before you can have someone check in your bike for you.
Can I bring in my bike on the morning of the race?
No. No exceptions.
What time does the transition area open on race morning?
4:45am-6:45am for all Olympic, Sprint and Relay athletes
What time will transition reopen to allow athletes to collect their bikes and belongings?
At 10:30am, athletes will gradually be allowed back into transition in small numbers starting with the professionals and Open Age Group. We reserve the right to keep the transition area closed until the last cyclist arrives at 12:30pm. Book your travel arrangements accordingly. We won’t change this policy to accommodate flights, hotel check-out, etc. *If you're allowed into the transition area early and you interfere with a competitor who is still racing, you'll be disqualified.
Can I change my race division?
Once registered, you can't make changes in your race division to improve your wave start order. You may change from age group to Clydesdale/Athena or Novice only. No changes will be made after 4pm, Friday, April 13.
My registration information is wrong. What can I do?
You must email Susan Daniels by April 20, 2018 to have your registration information corrected. After April 20, you must report to the solutions table at athlete check-in to make corrections.
Where do I pick up my timing chip?
Chip pick-up will be part of the athlete check-in process.
What can I do if I lost my chip or left it in the hotel room?
- • If left in the hotel, go back and get it.
- • Spare chips will be located at the swim start.
Are recumbent bikes allowed?
What time do the awards start?
The Professional and Open Age Group awards are at 12pm. General awards will start at approximately 12:30pm.
If I was unable to stay for awards, can I have it mailed to me?
Yes. You must send a check for $10, payable to St. Anthony's Triathlon, to:
