Travel & Lodging
St. Petersburg is located on Florida's West Coast and is easily
accessible by major roadways and nearby airports. Air travelers are
recommended to use Tampa International Airport, which is a
30-minute drive from downtown St. Petersburg.
All St. Anthony's Triathlon activities are conducted in Vinoy
Park along the Tampa Bay waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg. The
Meek & Mighty Triathlon takes place at nearby North Shore
Pool.
Directions to Vinoy Park
From I-275 in St. Petersburg take Exit 23-A to I-375. Travel
east on I-375 past St. Anthony's Hospital into downtown St.
Petersburg. Continue straight ahead for several blocks (you're now
on 4th Ave. N.) to Beach Drive. Turn left on Beach Drive and travel
three blocks to 7th Avenue North. Turn right on 7th Avenue North
and travel two blocks to Vinoy Park. Parking is available in the
lots just north of North Shore Pool, in the downtown area and in
surrounding neighborhoods.
Lodging
The Hilton Carillon
Park, St. Petersburg's newest hotel offering four-diamond
service, serves as an official St. Anthony's Triathlon hotel.
Triathletes may take advantage of a special rate of $159, plus tax,
with a two night minimum stay. Please contact the Hilton Carillon
Park before March 27th to make your reservations.
The
St. Petersburg Marriott Clearwater is an Official Hotel of St.
Anthony's Triathlon. This four-star suite hotel is offering a
discounted rate of $150 per night (two-night minimum) and is just a
10-minute drive from Vinoy Park. Please contact the St. Petersburg

The Hampton Inn &
Suites is an Official Hotel of St. Anthony's Triathlon.
Downtown St. Petersburg's newest property is offering a discounted
rate of $234 - $274 per night (suites starting at $254 per night)
and is less than a mile from Vinoy Park. Please contact the Hampton
Inn & Suites (727-892-9900) by March 24 to take advantage of
the discounted rate. A three-night minimum stay is
required.
The Alden Beach
Resort is an Official Hotel of St. Anthony's Triathlon. The
resort is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on St. Pete Beach
and is offering a discounted rate for their suites starting at $189

Homewood Suites by Hilton is offering a special rate of $119.00
for a one bedroom, $179 for a two bedroom, per night for St.
Anthony's Triathlon participants. The hotel is located on Ulmerton
Road in Clearwater, a 15 minute interstate drive to race site. Make
sure to mention you are with St. Anthony's Triathlon to get the

The Days Inn St.
Petersburg/Clearwater is an easy 10 miles to Downtown St.
Petersburg. Our discounted rate of $59 includes a deluxe
