Registration Nearing Capacity

1st WTC 5150 Series Event
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla, (March 17, 2011)
- Registration will close soon as the St. Anthony's
Hospital Triathlon, one of the premier multi-sport events in the
United States, is nearing capacity. Thousands of athletes are set
to converge on downtown St. Petersburg for the exciting race
weekend, April 29-May 1, 2011.
The race, which is now part of the World Triathlon Corp. (WTC)'s
new 5150 Triathlon Series, will feature 4,000 individual
triathletes and 125 relay teams competing on Sunday, May 1.
Additionally, a world-class professional field will compete for a
prize purse of more than $65,000. The 5150 Series will be the
largest international distance triathlon series in the world and
will be the first non-drafting international race series of its
kind.
The three-day event weekend includes a sports and fitness expo,
the Meek & Mighty Triathlon, a short distance race for youths
ages 7-14 and novice adults held Saturday, April 30, and St.
