Junior and Youth, Club, Elite and Aquabike Nationals set for next season

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Triathlon today announced the details for four of its 2012 National Championship events - the Junior and Youth National Championship, the Club National Championship, the Elite National Championship and the Aquabike National Championship.

 

St. Anthony's Triathlon Announces New Swim Course Location

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Nov. 2, 2011) - Athletes will take on a fresh challenge at the 2012 St. Anthony's Triathlon as race officials have permanently moved the open water swim portion of the race to an area of Tampa Bay north of North Shore Pool in St. Petersburg.

The swim course will be 1.5K or .93 miles. The bike and run portions of the race and the transition areas will remain the same, at 40K and 10K, respectively. The St. Anthony's Triathlon, one of the best known triathlons in the United States, is part of the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) 5150 Triathlon Series.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (April 20, 2011) - To accommodate for the safety of the athletes and those viewing the race, several roads in downtown and south St. Petersburg will be impacted during the St. Anthony's Triathlon on Sunday, May 1, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Race organizers are advising the community to expect traffic delays and intermittent road closures.
