- How do I register?
A registration link to the active.com website will be posted on the triathlon home page at
www.satriathlon.com. Register early
as we expect to reach full capacity in less than a day. No mail in registrations will be
accepted.
- What is the cost for entry?
Meek and Mighty Triathlon: $50
St. Anthony’s Triathlon - Individual: $160
- I can’t race, can I get a refund?
No refunds, no exceptions. You can defer your entry to 2012. You may not transfer it to another athlete.
You will be required to pay a $75 transfer fee in 2011 at the time of registration.
You must request a deferral by April 1, 2011. No deferrals will be processed beyond this date.
- Do I need a photo I.D. to pick up may packet?
YES
- I know someone who cannot race, can I use their number?
NO !!!!! You will be banned from participation at all USAT sanctioned.
- Do I need a USAT license to participate?
YES. All individuals and relay team members must furnish proof of current USAT membership or you will be
required to purchase a one-day USAT license ($10) at athlete check in.
- Can I have someone else pick up my packet for me?
NO. You must pick up your own packet or you will not be allowed to race. No EXCEPTIONS. You must be at
athlete check-in before close at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
- Can someone else check in my bike for me?
YES. If you cannot check in your bike, you may have another competitor check in your bike once they have gotten their participant wrist band. Bike must be checked in by 8pm on Saturday, April 30. You must pick up your packet and bike must be numbered before you can have someone check in your bike for you.
- Can I bring in my bike race morning?
NO. No exceptions
- What time does transition open on race morning?
4:45 a.m.
- What time will transition re-open to allow athletes to collect their bikes and belongings?
At 10:30 a.m., we will gradually allow athletes back into transition in small numbers starting with the
professionals and elite amateurs. We do reserve the right to keep transition closed until the last cyclist
comes in at 12:30. Book your travel arrangements accordingly. We will not change this policy to accommodate
flights, hotel check out, etc.
**** If allowed into transition early, and you interfere with a competitor still racing, you will be DQ’d.
- Can I change my race division?
Once registered, you cannot make changes in your race division to improve your wave start order. You may change from
age group to Clydesdale/Athena or Novice only. No changes will be made after March 28th.
- My registration information is wrong, what can I do?
You must e-mail triathlon@baycare.org
by April 1, 2011 in order to have your registration information corrected.
If after April 1st, you must report to the solutions table at athlete check-in to make corrections.
- Where do I pick up my timing chip?
Chip pick up will be part of the athlete check in process rather than race morning.
- What can I do if I lost my chip or left it in the hotel room?
Option 1: If left in the hotel, go back and get it. Option 2: Spare chips will be located at the swim start.
- Are recumbent bikes allowed?
NO
- What time do the awards start?
12:30 p.m. for the professional and elite amateurs. General awards approximately 1 p.m.
- If I was unable to stay for awards, can I have it mailed to me?
Yes. You must send a check for $10.00 payable to St. Anthony’s Triathlon to:
