This division has been created for those athletes that consistently place in the top 10 overall, not age group. There will be 2 waves, male and female, starting behind the professional divisions.
The Male and Female winners will receive a complimentary entry for 2012 and a two night stay at the St. Petersburg Downtown Hilton.
- Male athletes must provide proof of completing an International distance event in 2010 in a time of 2:10 or better. Female athletes must provide proof of completing an International distance event in 2010 in a time of 2:30 or better.
- If you cannot furnish official race results from 2010 that meet this time standard and feel that you are qualified to compete as an elite amateur based on past performances, you must submit you race resume to race management at triathlon@baycare.org. Race management reserves the right to refuse any entry. No exceptions will be made after the April 1st deadline.
- Official race results/resumes must be received in our office by April 1, 2011. Final decisions will be made no later than March 15th. You must send results via e-mail to triathlon@baycare.org or by mail to:
